The Chanani Group is a small conglomerate focused on the intersection of hospitality service and real estate. The company is celebrating its 28th year in creating, developing and managing businesses, which include hotels, fueling stations, apartment complexes, shopping centers and restaurants. Madhu and Sudha Chanani, husband and wife, co-founded the Chanani Group in 1991 with one apartment building and a vision for legacy growth and world-class hospitality.
The management team of second generation siblings has significant domain expertise and is active alumni of Wharton, Kellogg, Cornell and Harvard. One of them was a Captain in the US Army who served in Iraq. He was awarded a Hometown Hero award by the city of Torrance, where the Chanani Group is headquartered. The Group just launched its first cutting-edge boutique hotel, Bluestem Hotel, a member of the elite Ascend Hotel Collection.
