John R. Talley and Elizabeth J. Talley founded Talley Inc., a privately-held, family-owned business, in 1983 under its original name Talley Electronics Corp. They successfully transitioned ownership and management to their four sons, Mark, John, Jeffrey and Richard, all of whom continue to be active in the business.
With 11 facilities nationwide, Talley is one of the nation’s largest distributors of wireless infrastructure, communications and mobile products in a wide range of industries from local public safety to nationwide cellular. Talley implemented a Big Goal Program for all its facilities to create a culture of service excellence to their clients and empowerment to their employees. Since launching this Program, Talley has seen significant sales growth in the last two years and continues to increase its staff hires. This growth has strengthened and expanded the number of tenured staff members.
