In June of 2018, Culbert Lu became the first general counsel at OnPrem Solution Partners, a rapidly growing consulting and technology firm with offices throughout North America. Lu manages all of OnPrem’s legal function, dealing with major studios and broadcasters, as well as leading consumer product companies.
Lu came to OnPrem with a rich litigation and transactional background. He has spent the last year and a half providing a wide range of services for the start-up, in areas ranging from drafting and negotiating all forms of customer and vendor agreements, to advising on HR and personnel, to supporting tax and payroll, and to negotiating lease agreements. His diverse background affords him a unique business perspective, complementing his strong legal understanding. It’s this path in which he is able to identify creative ways to reach agreement during contract negotiations.
