THE LATEST: Hutchins has been with KPMG since 2006. In February, the accounting firm announced a strategic alliance with blockchain company Guardtime to provide clients with blockchain-based services.
BACKGROUND: With more than 35 years of experience in risk management and advisory services, Hutchins oversees the Los Angeles office for Amsterdam-based KPMG. He launched the accounting firm’s risk advisory services practice in the Western region and served as national lead partner for enterprise risk management services for the KPMG’s banking and finance practice. Hutchins is on the boards of the California Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Greater Los Angeles. He is also the audit and finance chairman of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles and is a supporter of the Los Angeles Orphans Home Society, St. James’ Episcopal School, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Marlborough Girls School.
