Farmers & Merchants Adds Two

Long Beach-based Farmers & Merchants Bank named JoAnn Bourne and Christine Scheuneman to its seven-member board, succeeding William Hayter and Timothy Jackert, who are retiring from the board after serving for 31 years and 13 years, respectively. Bourne, who becomes a member of the bank’s audit committee, is a retired senior executive vice president at San Francisco-based MUFG Union Bank, which is the U.S. banking arm of Japanese holding company Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc. Scheuneman, who becomes a member of the bank’s risk and compliance committee, is a recently retired partner with the New York City-based law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.
