The California Public Utilities Commission scandal has now spread to U.C. Berkeley as the school is being criticized for its role in a retirement dinner for Michael Peevey, the former head of the PUC now under investigation by the Department of Justice, the Los Angeles Times reports. The school was slated to benefit from the $250-a-plate dinner but says it will not accept the donation.
