DotstudioPro: The new platform from Dotstudioz content creators to manage, monetize and distribute their work. Founded in 2010, the Burbank entertainment tech startup also raised $830,000 in seed funding. Read more here.

Dreamjobbing: The multi-platform offering promises to connect applicants with “once-in-a-lifetime” jobs. The positions are temporary, ranging from a week to several months. The startup is based in Santa Monica.

JibJab Messages: JibJab Bros. Studios has released an iOS messaging app that lets users send and receive personalized gifs and memes. The Venice digital media entertainment company is celebrating its 15-year anniversary with the product launch.

Serviz: The Sherman Oaks company offers on-demand skilled labor services in handyman work, plumbing, carpet cleaning and appliance repair. “You press a button, and we’re responsible for the entire transaction,” said co-founder Zorik Gordon. Read more here.

Squawkin: The Android and iOS app combines social media and messaging by giving users the option to communicate via voice, text or photos. The Pasadena startup recently raised $2.5 million in funding.
