Otherworldly Advice

Tori Hartman? company in the Fairfax District sells psychic supplies wholesale, but she is becoming known for running her psychic consulting practice for businesspeople. She has worked with Hollywood producers; L.A. manufacturers; and real estate investor Jeff Lewis, the house-flipper on Bravo? reality show ?lipping Out.

? help them use their intuition more for decision-making,?she said. ?ore businesspeople than I can tell you use these kinds of services.?p>Hartman remembers as a child telling her father: ?on? worry about money, you have that check for $300.?Later that day, a check for that amount arrived in the mail.

But Hartman said the most common psychic ailment among executives and entrepreneurs is what she calls ?reed fantasy.?p>For example, one entrepreneur came in for a reading. She told him he would receive an offer to sell his company, but the price would be less than $55 million, the presumed value of the assets. He should accept the deal anyway, she told him. He received an offer for $47 million and refused it.

Hartman warned the price would only go down. The next offer was $35 million.

?e ended up with a little more than $1 million when all was said and done,?Hartman said.
