Architecture

HGA Architects and Engineers, a Minneapolis-headquartered architecture, engineering and planning firm, has promoted Sean M. Collins to associate vice president in its Century City office. Collins was previously project manager with the firm.

Banking & Finance

San Francisco-based Wells Fargo & Co. has named John Sotoodeh regional president for Los Angeles metro community banking and Lisa Stevens president of California community banking in the downtown L.A. headquarters. Sotoodeh was previously regional president for community banking in the Southern California region. Stevens was head of community banking for the San Francisco Bay and Oregon markets.

City National Bank, a subsidiary of Beverly Hills-based City National Corp., has hired Leah Duke as vice president and senior relationship manager of private client services in its Manhattan Beach banking office and Merlinda Salinas as vice president and manager in the Pershing Square banking office in downtown Los Angeles. Duke was previously senior vice president and commercial lending team leader at 1st Century Bank in Century City. Salinas was previously manager at City National's Burbank branch.

Construction

Andrew Field has joined the Los Angeles office of Rider Levett Bucknall, a Phoenix-based company that provides property and construction consultancy advice, as associate and senior project manager. Field was previously associate and resident manager in the firm's Las Vegas office.

Entertainment

Dave Butler has been promoted to president of West Hollywood-headquartered Ticketmaster North America. Butler previously as chief executive of Paciolan, an Irvine venue-ticketing software company acquired by Ticketmaster in 2008.

The international music division of Live Nation, a Los Angeles-headquartered live concert producer, has promoted Shane Bourbonnais to president of talent, Phil Bowdery to president of touring and Paul Latham to chief operating officer. Bourbonnais was previously president of Live Nation Canada. Bowdery was executive vice president of touring. Latham was president of U.K.
operations.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group in Burbank has promoted Jim Wuthrich to president of international home video and digital distribution. Wuthrich was previously senior vice president of digital distribution with the company.

Health Care

The Greater Los Angeles chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Century City has named Donna Ostrower executive director. Ostrower was previously zone director in the Los Angeles office of Jewish National Fund, a non-profit organization specializing in development of Israeli land and infrastructure.

Law

The Century City office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, a Chicago-based law firm, has named Breton A. Bocchieri partner, Brien B. Kirk staff attorney and Nguyen Huu Nguyen associate. Bocchieri was previously partner and co-chairman of the intellectual property practice litigation group at Thelen Reid & Priest LLP, a San Francisco business law firm. Kirk and Nguyen were associates at Thelen Reid.

Robert J. Drexler Jr. has joined Khorrami Pollard & Abir LLP, a downtown L.A. law firm, as associate. Drexler was previously senior associate with Quisenberry Law Firm in Century City.

Horvitz & Levy LLP, an Encino-based law firm, has named Bradley S. Pauley partner. Pauley was previously an attorney with the firm.

Jackson Lewis LLP, a law firm based in White Plains, N.Y., has named David G. Hoiles Jr. and Nita Parikh partners in its downtown L.A. office. Hoiles was previously associate with the firm. Parikh was of
counsel.

Non-Profit

The American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles has appointed Michelle McCarthy chief financial and administrative officer. McCarthy was previously senior associate vice president of finance and administration at USC.

Renee Ordeneaux has been appointed to the board of Upward Bound House, a Santa Monica non-profit social services agency offering transitional housing. Ordeneaux is principal at RBZ LLP, a West Los Angeles public accounting and consulting firm.

Real Estate

Jones Lang LaSalle, a Chicago-headquartered global commercial real estate company, has hired Barry Hill as senior vice president in its downtown L.A. office. Hill previously served as vice president in the Torrance office of CB Richard Ellis.

Security

City National Security Services, a Westchester security and investigations firm, has hired Cedric Sutherland as chief operating officer. Sutherland was previously district general manager and retail and senior account executive for Cort, a Fairfax, Va., company that offers furniture rental and relocation services.

DONATION


Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP, a West L.A. law firm, has donated $25,000 to Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, a non-profit organization counseling families in crisis and at-risk children, and providing food and shelter for homeless families, and abused women and their children. The donation will be used to support the non-profit's Family Violence Project, which provides safety for victims of domestic abuse.
