Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. said Tuesday it had won a contract worth an estimated $70 million from the Delaware Department of Transportation.

The Pasadena construction-services provider said it will provide design services for a section of limited access roadway. Final design of the project, which also includes the design of bridges, is scheduled to be completed in 2010. The work is part of a $704 million project.

Jacobs Engineering shares were up $1.32, or 4.5 percent, to $31.09 in morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
