Jacobs Engineering Group Inc.

announced that a subsidiary company will team with architect AART Farah to renovate and expand the La Timone hospital in Marseille, France. The cost of the project is estimated to be nearly $306 million. The contract value was not disclosed. Jacobs will provide engineering and construction management services for two new buildings at the hospital.


Also, the Pasadena-based firm said that a subsidiary will provide technical consulting services to Georgia’s State Road and Tollway Authority to support the agency’s efforts to extend two major Georgia roadways. The contract will eventually require Jacobs to contribute technical, financial management, legislative and regulatory services to the authority to help it develop new statewide transportation projects.






Kilroy Realty Corp.

signed a 10-year lease agreement with Intuit Inc. for 365,000 square feet at Santa Fe Summit, a four-building office campus Kilroy plans to build on land it owns in San Diego. Intuit will lease three of the four buildings, comprising 78 percent of the square footage planned for the office campus, and will occupy the buildings when they are completed in the fall of 2007. With the addition of Santa Fe Summit, the L.A.-based real estate investment trust’s San Diego portfolio will grow to more than 4 million square feet of office space






Northrop Grumman Corp.

has formed a team to compete for a contract to work on missile defense systems at the U.S. Missile Defense Agency’s Joint National Integration Center, located at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs. The L.A.-based defense contractor’s team comprises 23 companies, including Raytheon Co. and Lockheed Martin Corp., that will work together to increase the capabilities of the missile systems. The contract will be awarded in November.






JAMDAT Mobile Inc.

and video games publisher Atari Interactive Inc. have released their first licensed mobile game together, the L.A.-based wireless entertainment company announced. Yahtzee Deluxe will be available via multiple wireless carriers in the U.S., allowing subscribers to play the classic Hasbro Properties Group board game on their mobile phones.
