– Korn/Ferry International

reported second-quarter net income of $10.9 million (25 cents per share) for the period ended Oct. 31, compared with $8.7 million (21 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenue for the Los Angeles-based executive search firm rose 16 percent, to $125.8 million.


The company expects third-quarter fee revenue of $125 million to $130 million and earnings in the range of 25 cents to 29 cents per share.



– Digital Insight Corp.

signed a multi-year strategic partnership with financial services provider PSCU Financial Services to expand distribution of its product lines. The agreement calls for the Calabasas-based online banking provider to outsource its Sacramento call center operations to St. Petersburg, Fla.-based PSCU and for PCSU to license and resell all three Digital Insight product lines to its client base.


As a result of the closing of its call center, Digital Insight said it will take a charge of $1.9 million, or 4 cents per share. The company now expects fourth-quarter earnings of 17 cents to 19 cents per share, down from previous guidance of 19 cents to 20 cents per share, and full-year 2006 profit of 79 cents to 86 cents per share, down from an earlier forecast of 82 cents to 88 cents per share. Revenues will not be affected.



– Earl Scheib Inc.

reported second-quarter net income of $315,000 (7 cents per share) for the period ended Oct. 31, compared with $21,000 (breakeven) for the like period a year earlier. Revenue for the Sherman Oaks-based auto paint and body shops operator rose 2.2 percent, to $12.7 million.



– Telepictures Productions

and America Online Inc. launched TMZ.com, a Web site covering celebrity gossip and entertainment news. TMZ.com, named for the “30-mile zone” around Hollywood, will feature breaking news as well as a library of celebrity photos and video interviews. TMZ’s managing editor is Harvey Levin, the former executive producer of “Celebrity Justice.” Telepictures is an L.A.-based productions company for shows such as “Extra” and “The Ellen Degeneres Show.”
