Brad Beesley has been promoted to design director within the interactive and convergent media group at Pittar Sullivan, an entertainment marketing communications company in Culver City. Dawn Wilcox has been promoted to vice president of Deen and Black Public Relations. Deen and Black was recently acquired by Alexander Ogilvy PR and Wilcox will remain in Los Angeles as an Ogilvy employee, managing several government and public affairs clients. She was most recently a general manager of Deen and Black's Los Angeles office.
Allison Zamora has been appointed to head the expanding lifestyle division at Crier Communications, a public relations agency in Los Angeles. Zamora will provide public relations and communications services for both online and offline lifestyle-based companies in such industries as fashion, travel, luxury goods, food and health. Most recently she was an executive at Calvin Klein in New York. Also joining Crier is Doug Schneider. He will oversee a variety of corporate and high-tech accounts. Mark Humphrey has joined A Band Apart Commercials, a commercial and music video production company in Los Angeles, as co-executive producer and head of sales for music videos. He will be responsible for driving new business efforts for the company's roster of music video directors. Travis J. Rutherford has been named senior vice president of MGM Consumer Products and MGM Interactive. He will be responsible for overseeing worldwide merchandising and marketing activities, implementing licensing strategies, developing business in new markets and managing the company's clip-and-still licensing business, as well as for managing the creative development of MGM's Interactive products. Tricia Wilber has been promoted to vice president of business development for ABC Cable Networks Group. In her new position, Wilber will be responsible for overseeing all business planning and development for ABC Cable Networks Group, including the formulation of new opportunities and growth strategies. Prior to joining the company in 1999, she was director of marketing and programming for SNET. Albert Cheng and Ellen Klein are also new at ABC Cable Networks. Cheng is vice president national accounts and distribution strategy and will be responsible for developing distribution strategies, negotiating deals and creating economic plans for ABC Cable Networks Group's wholly-owned properties, including Disney Channel, Toon Disney, SoapNet and any future networks created by the group. Jef Kurfess has been appointed senior vice president of business development and operations at B3 Corp., an e-business solutions provider in Burbank. Steven S. Koblik has been appointed president of the Huntington Library in San Marino. His appointment becomes effective in September, and he will be responsible for the institution's financial affairs and development, as well as overseeing the library, botanical gardens, art collections and research.
