Former Warner Bros. executive Sue Kroll announced April 4 that she started her own production company, though it is one located in Warner Bros. Burbank studio lot.
Kroll & Co. Entertainment will executive produce a host of feature films including “A Star is Born,” a remake starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga that is slated to premier in October. The company also announced the movie rights to “Six Billion Dollar Man,” an update of the 1970s television show.
Kroll worked at Warner Bros. for 24 years and her most recent title was president of worldwide marketing and distribution. She left in January amid a company shake-up.
“I am excited to be collaborating in this new capacity with amazing, visionary filmmakers, many of whom I have known and worked with, and to also champion new and unique voices,” Kroll said in a statement. “This is just the beginning and I am thrilled about our slate of films and our incredible filmmaking partners.”
