Tix Corp. said Tuesday that it acquired the assets of All Access Entertainment, a discount ticket service in Las Vegas.
Tix, a Studio City-based provider of ticketing services, event production and promotion, said All Access’ five facilities are being converted to the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Tix4Tonight brand.
The additional facilities, located where Tix4Tonight does not have its own locations, bring the total number of Tix4Tonight same-day, discount ticket stores in Las Vegas to 13. Chief Executive Mitch Francis said the acquisition will be accretive to the discount ticketing division, which increased gross ticket sales last year by approximately 44 percent to nearly $80 million.
“We believe this growth trend will continue this year by approximately 25 percent to nearly $100 million of gross ticket sales,” Francis said in a press release.
Shares were up 6 cents, or 5 percent, to $1.24 in midday trading on the Nasdaq.
