Pride Media Names Interim Chief Executive Amid Coyle Departure
Nathan Coyle

Pride Media, owner of iconic LGBTQ publications “Out” and the “Advocate,” on April 18 named Orlando Reece to the position of interim chief executive hours after the departure of chief executive Nathan Coyle.

Coyle told employees earlier in the day that he left to become chief executive of Ford Modeling Agency.

Reece has been chief revenue officer of Pride since August.

Coyle was appointed chief executive of Pride Media last June. His tenure was marred with allegations of non-payment to freelance writers and the executive was, according to one company source, “very disengaged and unresponsive.”

Pride Media is owned by Oreva Capital Corp., a company founded by Adam Levin that also owns “High Times” magazine. Pride and High Times share the same Westwood office.
