Global Eagle Entertainment Inc. said that it netted more than $183 million from a public stock offering.
The West L.A. company, which provides in-flight entertainment, information and e-commerce programs for airlines, said it sold 13.3 million new shares at $14.25 a share.
The offering closed Thursday. The company plans to use the proceeds for working capital and general purposes.
Shares on Friday closed down 17 cents, or less than 1 percent, to $14.69.
