Teledyne Technologies Inc. said Friday that a subsidiary purchased the remaining 11 percent of Ocean Design Inc. that it didn’t already own for $19.6 million.
The Thousand Oaks manufacturer of electronic subsystems, instrumentation and communication products acquired a majority interest of Ocean Design in Daytona Beach, Fla., for $30 million in August 2006.
Ocean Design, which becomes a Teledyne subsidiary and was renamed Teledyne ODI Inc., makes electrical and fiber-optic systems used for undersea military uses, oceanographic research and offshore oil and gas production.
Shares were up 23 cents, or less than 1 percent, to $32.73 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange
