Revolution Capital Group on Monday said that it has acquired Maysteel, an Allenton, Wis. maker of sheet metal products.
Revolution Capital, a Century City private equity firm co-founded in 2009 by Robert Loring and Cyrus Nikou, did not disclose terms of deal. Maysteel, which has been in business since 1936, makes products for utilities, the medical field and other industries.
“This acquisition fits with Revolution’s plan to expand its portfolio of high-quality manufacturing companies,” Jeff Gray, a Revolution managing director, said in a statement.
Revolution Capital’s portfolio now includes three manufacturing companies, two Florida newspaper groups and CAP XG, a Valencia online software firm.
