PolyCera Raises $9 Million Series A

Inglewood-based PolyCera Membranes, makers of industrial wastewater treatment and process separation technology raised a $9 million Series A funding, the company announced June 11.

The round was led by Santa Monica-based venture capital firm Kairos Ventures, private equity firm Bluestem Capital in Sioux Falls, S.D. and Wolfen Group.

PolyCera said the new funding would help build out its global manufacturing, research and development and sales capabilities.

The company makes membranes which are used to purify drinking water. PolyCera is a subsidiary of Inglewood-based Water Planet.
