OSI Systems Inc. on Thursday said that its security division won a contract, potentially worth up to $325 million, to supply its baggage-inspection X-ray machines to the U.S. Transportation Security Administration.
The Hawthorne company said the TSA contract with its Rapiscan Systems division is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract that can be filled over an unspecified period of time. OSI did not say how many individual security systems would be supplied.
Shares were up $2.01, or 6 percent, to $34.97 in midday trading on the Nasdaq.
