Zach Sokoloff, who is currently running for Los Angeles city controller, is a senior vice president at Culver City-based Hackman Capital Partners. He joined the company in 2018 and is overseeing its Television City asset. He also founded Hackman Capital’s changing lenses initiative, which provides mentorship and training programs for individuals in historically underrepresented communities. Prior to joining the firm, Sokoloff worked for Tishman Speyer in New York. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Yale University, his master’s degree in education policy and administration from Loyola Marymount University, and his J.D./MBA from Harvard University.
