Co-Chief Executive
Netflix Inc.
Named co-chief executive of Netflix in July 2020, Ted Sarandos has led the top-ranking streaming giant alongside Greg Peters and has helmed all content operations since 2000. Sarandos also spearheaded Netflix’s transition to original content production, overseeing the production of “House of Cards,” “Arrested Development,” and “Orange Is the New Black.” Last year, the company was involved in a much-publicized takeover deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, which Netflix ultimately backed out of in February. Sarandos was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2025 and 2013 and received the Producers Guild of America Milestone Award in 2019.
