Following Disney’s succession saga, Dana Walden now leads Disney’s Entertainment segment as president and chief creative officer, overseeing Disney’s streaming services, film and television businesses, and gaming and digital entertainment operations. Previously, Walden served as co-chairman of Disney Entertainment, overseeing Disney’s entertainment media, news, and content businesses. Walden joined Disney in 2019 after its acquisition of 21st Century Fox, initially chairing Disney Television Studios and ABC Entertainment. Before joining Disney, Walden spent 25 years at 21st Century Fox and served as chief executive of Fox Television Group. Walden is a recipient of the Producers Guild of America Milestone Award and the first executive to receive the International Emmy Founders Award in more than two decades.
