Chair, Chief Executive of Content
HBO
Casey Bloys has spent more than two decades at HBO and currently serves as chair and chief executive of HBO and Max Content. His tenure has produced highly acclaimed series, including “Succession,” “The Last of Us,” “House of the Dragon,” “The White Lotus,” “Euphoria,” and “Hacks.” In 2025, he championed “The Pitt” as a model for Max’s drama strategy – weekly release cadence, network-scale episode counts, and moderate budgets – and greenlit pilots that followed that blueprint. He also oversaw production of the “Harry Potter” television series and secured a breakout acquisition, the Canadian hockey drama “Heated Rivalry,” which became the platform’s top-performing acquired scripted series launch.
