YT Jia founded Faraday Future in 2014 and was appointed as the chief product and user ecosystem officer in March of 2023. Jia has since been promoted to helm the artificial intelligence-powered luxury electric vehicle company as co-chief executive last April. YT is responsible for the company’s artificial intelligence, product definition, user acquisition, user experience and user operation business. He prioritizes a user-centric model that involves user acquisition and user operation. Before founding Faraday Future in Los Angeles, YT founded LeEco (originally Leshi Internet Information & Technology), a Chinese conglomerate known for video streaming, smartphones and smart TVs. He also founded Zhuoyue Industrial Company in 1996.
