Peter Beck founded Rocket Lab Corp. in 2006 and has since taken the company to the forefront of aerospace engineering. As its president, chief executive and chair, Beck led the development of the Electron rocket. It is the second most launched rocket in the world, trailing only behind Space Exploration Technology Corp.’s Falcon 9. The advanced manufacturer closed out fiscal year 2025 with a 38% revenue growth at $602 million and a valuation at $44.6 billion. Beck began his career in 1993 at Fisher & Paykel, and has since received numerous awards, including the Gold Medal and Meritorious Medal from the New Zealand Division of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
