Chief Executive
Tetra Tech
Roger Argus was named chief executive of Pasadena-based engineering, environmental, and consulting company Tetra Tech Inc. in February, replacing longtime chief Dan Batrack, who is now executive chairman. Argus takes the helm of a global company with more than 25,000 employees across more than 500 offices and more than $5.4 billion in annual revenue. A chemical engineer, Argus has spent more than 30 years at Tetra Tech, most recently serving as the company’s president. At Tetra Tech, he has managed multidisciplinary contracts and projects supporting the U.S. federal government, including the Army Corps of Engineers and the Environmental Protection Agency. He now faces the task of diversifying the company’s client base after the U.S. Agency for International Development shuttered last year.
