Gene Seroka is the executive director of the Port of Los Angeles, which has achieved a series of historic, record-breaking milestones since his appointment in 2014. Based in San Pedro, the Port of Los Angeles is the busiest container port in North America, and Seroka oversees a $2.6 billion budget, manages major capital projects, increases trade volume, and promotes innovative, sustainable practices that strengthen the region’s economy. Before working at the port, Seroka held several key positions – both nationally and internationally – in sales and management for American President Lines Limited.
