Scott Adelson assumed the chief executive role at Houlihan Lokey in June 2024, capping a nearly four-decade climb that included stints as co-president and global co-head of corporate finance. Based in Beverly Hills, he oversees operations, strategy and client relationships. Under his leadership, the firm posted record fiscal year 2025 revenues of $2.39 billion, up sharply from $1.91 billion the prior year. The firm also completed strategic acquisitions of Prytania Solutions and Waller Helms and promoted 16 managing directors during the fiscal year. Adelson holds a degree from University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
