Levine Leichtman Capital Partners
Lauren Leichtman co-founded the middle-market private equity firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners with her husband, Arthur Levine, in 1984. The firm, headquartered in Beverly Hills, manages $12.8 billion in assets under management. Over the past four decades, it has managed $18.1 billion across 20 investment funds and invested in approximately 120 portfolio companies. Last July, Levine Leichtman closed its seventh flagship fund at $3.6 billion, with capital targeted for investments in franchising, business services, education and training, and engineered products. Now a co-chairperson of the firm’s executive committee, Leichtman previously practiced law, including in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s enforcement division.
