Henry Walker is the fourth generation of his family to lead Long Beach-based Farmers & Merchants Bank, founded by his great-grandfather C.J. Walker in 1907. The institution – which has never recorded an operating loss in over a century – operates 27 branches from San Clemente to Santa Barbara with more than $12 billion in assets. Under his leadership, Walker has spearheaded a $70 million technology investment. And last year, the bank opened a Laguna Beach branch, which celebrated its first anniversary with a community fundraiser for SchoolPower. Forbes named F&M among America’s Best Banks for 2026. Walker serves on the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and the Pacific Symphony.
