Everett Sands, a 25-year banking veteran, is the founder and chief executive of Lendistry, which provides capital to underserved small businesses. The downtown-based firm has distributed more than $10.5 billion in loans and grants to more than 640,000 small businesses. Sands advances financial inclusion through advisory roles with the Penn Institute for Urban Research and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
