Executive Director
Petersen Autmotive Museum
Terry Karges has led the Petersen Automotive Museum since 2012, guiding a significant transformation of one of Los Angeles’ most unique cultural landmarks. During his tenure, he has more than tripled ticket sales and staff, rebranded the museum’s iconic 1960s building with its striking stainless-steel exoskeleton, and established the Petersen as a leading venue for international automotive industry events and product launches. A native of Southern California, Karges spent 17 years at Roush Performance before joining the museum, having previously worked in marketing roles at Disneyland, SeaWorld and Marine World. In November 2025, he received the prestigious Digital Media of the Year Award at the International Historic Motoring Awards in London.
