Miguel Santana brings more than three decades of public, nonprofit and philanthropic experience to his role as the leader of the California Community Foundation, which stewards more than $2.6 billion in assets and distributes more than $300 million in annual grants. Since taking over as president and chief executive in 2023, he has spearheaded several key initiatives, including securing the passage of Measure A for affordable housing and services, raising more than $100 million for wildfire survivors, and securing $2 million for Angelenos affected by immigration enforcement actions.
