When Grand created MedTech Innovator, a competition and accelerator for new startups in the medical technology sector, he managed the program within Research Corporation Technologies Ventures Inc. from 2013 to 2016. Grand was the director and managing director at RCT Ventures for 11 years prior to spinning out MedTech Innovator into a standalone company with the financial backing of RCT Ventures. Before his time at RCT, he was the chief executive for a slew of companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech sectors. MedTech Innovator has grown its network of investors, providers and manufacturers that connect with emerging startups and help guide them through the fundraising process and market research analysis.
