Bricault founded Amplify.LA, a Venice-based venture capital firm, back in 2011 when the Los Angeles venture ecosystem was still nascent. The company quickly developed a reputation for backing early-stage startups aimed at enterprise use cases, and, in the years since, some of the companies Amplify has backed have since been purchased by the likes of Apple and Google. In August, the firm co-led a $2 million pre-seed round in Pryzm, a government contracting startup geared towards the military and weapons industry. Among Bricault’s notable investments are e-commerce platform Wish, pharmacy platform Honeybee Health and online dating app Lox Club. He also sits on the Board of Councilors for the Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism at USC.
