General Partner
Jumpstart Nova
Cooper is a general partner at Jumpstart Nova, a venture firm that makes investments in early-stage companies in the health care sector. Most of those startups are run by people of color – those who have historically been abused by and left out from innovation in health and medical research. She was the co-director of the Consortium for Technology and Innovation in Pediatrics, the largest medical technology accelerator in the country that had the backing of the Food and Drug Administration. Cooper received a bachelor’s degree in human biology at Stanford University and later went on to receive her MBA at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
