Lee co-founded firm BAM Ventures and is also the managing director of the firm. BAM Ventures is heavily focused on consumer fintech products and business-to-business enterprise platforms. Some of BAM Ventures’ notable investments include fintech education and money-saving platforms NerdWallet and Honey and mobile games company Scopely. Lee is perhaps best known for being the co-founder and a former president of LegalZoom.com, an online legal services company that was created in 2001; being a cofounder and former chief executive at the e-commerce and subscription platform ShoeDazzle.com; and being the former chief executive of The Honest Co., a home products e-commerce platform co-created by actress Jessica Alba.
