Clements is currently the managing partner and co-founder of Slauson & Co., a venture capital firm focused on early-stage companies, particularly geared towards small businesses and economically neglected populations. He got his start in the Los Angeles startup and venture community as an associate at TenOneTen Ventures, a firm based in Windsor Square and started by tech founders themselves. He was the founding chair of PledgeLA, a cooperative of venture firms and startups based in LA, the Annenberg Foundation, and the Los Angeles Mayor’s office that allowed otherwise isolated parts of the tech community to work with the city and county.
