Firestone’s purview of insurance brokers as Gallagher’s president of the Southwest region continued to grow last year. In a series of acquisitions, the brokerage added Cornerstone Commercial & Personal Insurance in Rancho Cucamonga, Statewide Commercial Insurance Brokers in Altadena and BMR Insurance in Tustin in 2024. Employees at those operations now all report to Firestone. The company’s operation in the Los Angeles area alone employs about 1,100 people. Firestone helped build a relationship with SoFi Stadium and the YouTube Theater in Inglewood that makes Gallagher the venue’s official insurance brokerage; the Patio and Chairman’s Club spaces at SoFi are now called The Gallagher Garden and The Gallagher Club.
