Amerio is now chief executive at Pasadena-based accounting firm Lucas Horsfall Advisors, where he has worked for 34 years and spent the past 15 years as managing partner. Under his stewardship, the company has grown to 140 employees. Lucas Horsfall was in October acquired by Ascend, a regional accounting services platform owned by private equity firm Alpine Investors. Amerio continues to serve on the board of Maryvale, which is the oldest children’s charity in Los Angeles County, and also coach in the Sierra Madre Little League.
