JM Eagle
Wang is the chief executive of JM Eagle, the largest manufacturer of plastic pipes in the world.
Formed in 2007 via the merger of J-M Manufacturing in Livingston, New Jersey and PW Eagle in Eugene, Oregon, the company is privately held. Wang had been chief executive of J-M until the formation of JM Eagle. The company relocated to Los Angeles in 2008, where it remains in Westchester. Wang and his wife Shirley donated $25 million to UCLA Health in April to create the UCLA Walter and Shirley Wang Center for Integrative Digestive Health. The Wangs have made other donations to UCLA over the years to a number of programs including scholarships for physical sciences and computer science. They also gave $6.5 million for wildfire recovery efforts.
