Founder, Chief Executive
Skyryse
Groden founded El Segundo-based Skyryse in 2016 with the goal of making flying safer and evolving general aviation. To do so, the company has developed hardware and software that can be integrated into any aircraft. It replaces the controls traditionally found in a cockpit with touchscreen tablets and a joystick. Its software handles other operations. Before starting the company, Groden graduated from the University of Michigan with bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees. He was previously an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award finalist for the greater Los Angeles area. He worked on an Air Force-funded research project and built a UAV as a teen.
