A household name in entertainment litigation, Rosengart formally wrapped up his tenure as pop star Britney Spears’ attorney last summer, concluding the years of work to end her father Jamie’s conservatorship over her. The former federal prosecutor also has represented entertainers such as actor Sean Penn, director Steven Spielberg and rock band Arcade Fire. Also specializing in white-collar work, Rosengart represented Verizon in a False Claims Act case that involved more than half a billion dollars in alleged damages. Benchmark Litigation has named him Entertainment Litigator of the Year for the past two years.
