Fenster chairs patent litigation at Russ August & Kabat, where he is also co-chair of litigation. Hired by the Brentwood-based firm to kickstart patent litigation, Fenster last year alone raked in nearly $1 billion in damages to his clients, including $551 million with interest to SPEX Technologies and $262 million to MR Technologies, both against Western Digital. He also obtained a settlement for Corephotonics in a six-year lawsuit against Apple over mobile camera and image processing patents. Fenster is frequently ranked among the top patent and intellectual property lawyers in the nation.
