Strickland, a litigator who specializes in financial services, moved to Steptoe LLP about two years ago, bringing with her a large team from the former Stroock & Stroock & Lavan. The research firm Chambers and Partners has hailed Strickland as being “one of the pioneers” in consumer finance litigation and the Daily Journal has for 16 years ranked her among California’s top women attorneys. Strickland has in recent years represented many well-known financial institutions and platforms in fraud, discrimination and class action cases against them. Outside of work, she serves on the boards of Center Dance Arts, Abraham.in.Motion, Body Traffic and the USC Kaufman School of Dance.
