Taylor has had a prolific couple of years with Taylor & Ring, the plaintiff’s firm he founded with Dave Ring in 2002. Frequently representing victims of sexual abuse, Taylor’s recent victories include $13 million and $15.1 million judgments against Los Angeles Unified School District for sexual abuse and harassment; a $35 million verdict for a woman raped by her teacher in the 1990s; a $25 million verdict against Santa Barbara Unified School District for a student sexually abused by a coach; and a $9.5 million settlement with the Los Angeles Police Department for the shooting death of Mely Corado, the largest pretrial settlement paid out for an LAPD shooting case.
