Agrusa is in charge of DLA Piper’s Century City office and co-chairs the global firm’s class action practice group. Her outpost has grown to be among the largest in Los Angeles County. Agrusa takes on sensitive defense cases involving the reputations of high-profile individuals and companies facing serious allegations. She remains on the executive board of Public Counsel. Agrusa this year led a DLA Piper team that prevailed in the defense of STARZ Entertainment against accusations of violating the federal Video Privacy Protection Act. She also in January worked to favorably settle 24 class action lawsuits filed against MGM Resorts International in response to data security incidents and presently represents the company in another class action suit.
