Bass has only continued his expansion of downtown-based Buchalter this past year. In addition to growing attorney headcounts in all existing locations, the law firm launched new offices in Atlanta, via a lateral team move, and in Chicago, through the absorption of another outpost there. Additionally, the firm launched a specialized FDA regulatory compliance practice group this year. At more than 140 attorneys, Buchalter is a Top 10 law firm in Los Angeles by number of attorneys. Bass has since 2021 served on the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce CEO Council. Bass is also a founding member of Sawtelle-based real estate investment, management and development firm Abington Emerson Investments.
